The Best Show on Earth - the American Presidential Campaign 2016

Glad to see that I’m not the only one who takes unflattering photos.

Have to admit, the 2016 Presidential campaign is a helluva lot more fun than the one in 2012. During 2012, we had two stuck-up out of touch and absolutely dreadful Republicans who focused more on uteruses (uteri is another plural form) than anything else. It cost them the vote.

The best part of today’s campaign is Trump. The Donald is such a showman! He should be, after 15 years or so as a television celebrity. People who rarely watch political news flock around their tvs, awaiting clips of the bombastic D.

He kinda reminds me of the quote in Private Parts by Howard Stern:

Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.
Pig Vomit: How can that be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what he'll say next."
Pig Vomit: Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Pig Vomit: But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next."

No matter what Donald says, he incites people. He’s attacked by the other Republican candidates, the Democrat candidates, the Pope, the Mexican President and so on.

Now, I’m no great fan of The Donald, but something tells me that the way these influential people  react to him, he’s a threat.

You wanna know why? No one and nothing can buy him. He already made his fortune. And, as smarmy as he is, I believe he’s sincere when he says, “I want to make America great again.”

A person like that is indeed a threat. He’s not pursuing Presidency to line up his coffers, bring in his unemployable relatives and friends or make us all speak in Swedish and wear our underpants on our heads.

Without a doubt a guy like that is a threat. He’s running for President to make his name for future generations as the greatest American President.

Besides, he’s having such a great time campaigning. He’s having the time of his life. Gotta give him credit for that.
